Ein Buggy (englisch für Kutsche) ist eine einspännige Kutsche - heute meist
mit zwei Achsen, einer Sitzbank und einer dahinter angeordneten, tiefliegenden Ladefläche. Ursprünglich war ein Buggy aber ein zweirädriger Wagen mit einem Sitz. Später wurde die Bezeichnung Buggy hauptsächlich für einen vierrädrigen Wagen mit Querfederung und Langbaum verwendet. Viele verstehen unter Buggy auch einen vierrädrigen Wagen im Stil eines fahrbaren Stuhls, in dem das Kleinkind sitzend geschoben wird.
