Ein Club (Plural: Clubs) ist eine andere Bezeichnung für eine Diskothek. Dabei steht der Begriff im engen Kontext von "Klub" (französisch Club), eine vor allem in London
beheimatete exklusive Form des Gesellschaftsvereins. Clubs sind meist aufgeteilt in so genannte "Chill-Out-Bereiche" (manchmal auch separate VIP-Lounges) sowie Tanzflächen. Von "Floors" ist die Rede, wenn sich diese Tanzfläche auf mehrere Ebenen verteilt. Clubs unterscheiden sich in ihrem Publikum, Standort sowie ihrer Musikrichtung, Größe und Preisklasse.
